Solving "Movement Issues"

Without going into too much detail… By using breath work, awareness and specific movements at the right intensity, the gentleman (Andrew, pictured below) went from being “beyond fucked” (<- from my notes), to picking up and carrying the 50kg sandbag, pain-free, in 4 sessions - something he didn’t believe was possible when he reached out - and is now, several months later, picking up 100+kg sandbags for reps.


Sometimes there is damage / trauma; sometimes you’ve been using harmful compensation patterns; sometimes your brain is simply predicting that a movement is unsafe and is aggressively protecting you; sometimes things can get a little woo-woo. It can be both incredibly complex and incredibly simple at the same time. Teaching skills is great, but solving these movement issues and having someone return to some level of normality is by far my favourite part of the job… If you need help, come find me!
